Golden Chutney (p. 62)
Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried figs, chopped
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1/2 lemon with seeds removed, chopped (including peel)
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Place ingredients in pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 25 minutes.
