Geezer Butler on PETA2:

Quotes by Geezer Butler:

"I went vegetarian when I was about … I think I was about 8 years old. One day, I cut this piece of meat open, and blood came out of it, and I realized … I asked me mother, 'Where did this come from?' She said, 'From animals,' and that was it."
"Life is God’s or natures’ greatest gift. All life should be treated with respect and dignity."
"I do love animals. I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life. At the moment, I have four dogs and nine cats, all rescued from abuse or abandonment."

Quotes are from his comment to PETA, his testimonial on PETA2, his 2011 interview with Jon Liebman's For Bass Players Only.
